KEY TOURISM INFRASTRUCTURE, HOSPITALITY, RETAIL & RESIDENTIAL PROJECTS IN OMAN

MUSCAT AND SALALAH AIRPORT PROJECT

A major expansion of the Muscat and Salalah airports. Muscat International Airport will consist of the construction of a new control tower and data center, a passenger terminal building, and a cargo building. Salalah International Airport will involve the construction of a new terminal building, expanding the length of the runway, and addition of a cargo building.

Project Cost: US$5.2 billion


THE WAVE MUSCAT

Oman’s first integrated tourism complex (ITC), which includes 4,000 residential properties, four hotels, 120 retail outlets consisting of international cafes, restaurants and shops, office buildings, an18-hole golf course, 400-berth marina, and parks. It is expected to be completed in 2022.
Project Cost: US$3.5 billion


SARAYA BANDAR JISSAH PROJECT

Oman’s latest integrated tourism complex that comprises 398 hilltop villas, stylish townhouses, duplexes and luxury apartments spread across five residential zones, a beachfront, recreational club, and a landscaped park on a 2.2-million square kilometer land and a high point of 250 meters above sea level.
Project Cost: US$ 600 million


KEMPINSKI WAVE HOTEL

A 5-storey beachfront hotel and resort that includes a 309-room, 5-star hotel and 77 hotel apartments, 7 restaurants, a ballroom that can accommodate more than 750 people, a luxury spa, a beach club with recreational and health facilities including tennis courts, a spa and swimming pools, a six-lane bowling alley, salon and various luxury F&B outlets.
Project Cost: US$ 140.6 million


MUSCAT PALM MALL

Covering a plot of 180,000 square meters, it features the largest theme park in Oman, an ampitheater, food courts, family entertainment area, and 70 branded hotel apartments.
Project Cost: US$ 129 million


JW MARRIOTT HOTEL PROJECT (PHASE 1)

Construction of a 5-storey, 5-star hotel with 300 rooms, a ballroom, swimming pools, a spa and lounge area.
Project Cost: US$ 91 million


MALL OF OMAN

Oman’s largest integrated retail, leisure and entertainment destination will have 350 outlets sprawling over a 137,000 sqm retail space. It will feature many ‘firsts’ including Oman’s largest snow-park, with an 8,000 sqm play area, and a Little Explorers edutainment centre. It will also include Oman’s first Abercrombie and Fitch and largest VOX Cinemas and Magic Planet, the leading family entertainment centre in the region, as well as a 13,200 sqm Carrefour hypermarket and a 292 room hotel.
Project Cost: US$ 700 million
